Fall Table Runner

Remember the fall fabric that I created last week? You can read about how I did it here.Fall Fabric When I painted it the thought was to make a table runner, but I was not sure exactly how to finish it until I played around a few days later learning free motion quilting using my darning foot. After doing some practice free motion stitching, I got brave, cut some batting and backing fabric for my table runner fabric and started stitching free motion leaves and swirls. Free Motion sewingI had so much fun and was happy with the results!Free Motion QuiltingI needed fabric for the trim and did not have anything in my fabric stash that looked right so I made some.
