Back to School: Transform it Today! (Part 3)

Today is another nostalgic transformation. Miss Tickles received an adorable outfit from her aunt and uncle for christmas, but she was only able to wear it a few times before she outgrew it. In that time though, she was able to stain it too much. Instead of getting rid of it completely, I decided to use the butterflies on a plain hand-me-down pink shirt given to My Princess.

Original ShirtsI found some crochet lace in mom’s stash to add too. I did a small zig zag stitch at the top and bottom of the lace to attach it to the shirt. Then used fusible webbing and a small zig zag stitch to attach the butterflies.

I didn’t want to waste the cute flower pattern on the back of the shirt, so I pulled out a pair of thrift store pants with slightly worn knees that I bought a few months ago.Original Pants and leftover shirt

I used the fusible webbing and then hand stitched the hearts on to the pants.
